In the first episode of the orange season, Clementine acted very different to her brother and sister as she had a completely different sleep schedule - sleeping during the day and awake at night - and felt left out as Tyler and Camille often spent time together and Clementine didn't spend time with them. However, years later, Karson and Alice rekindled their friendship and decided to enter an official relationship.
Karson left the campus leaving Alice briefly heartbroken. However, Karson showed up just before Alice had to go to class and he told her she shouldn't wait for him as he felt he wasn't good enough for her so he wanted to make sure he was to be able to be with her if that was what she wanted. This left Alice upset as she was confused about why Karson wasn't messaging her back. Karson returned in episode 2 of Back to Uni when he realized he hadn't replied to any of Alice's texts. After Karson was released, he had a romantic moment with Alice, hinting they might get together in the near future. In the following (and final) episode of My Story, Karson was released from jail after Alice asked for her cousin/friend Zoe-Rose (who was a lawyer at the time) to prove Karson was innocent. He was sent to jail, but Zoe-Rose, Alice, and Spencer helped free him. He had a soft spot for Alice and let her go. He and Alice hated each other at first but became friends after a stakeout one night.
He met Alice when he was sent to have her dad's debt paid. Karson joined the Criminal career and Clare mentioned that he might have been in a similar place that Alice was in. At the end of the episode, Alice learns that he was arrested for a job she was supposed to help with. He and Alice did a lot of "jobs" together, and he eventually let her go-even though her debt wasn't paid yet. He worked in a gang and was sent to get Alice Street to pay her dad's debt. Karson was introduced in My Story episode four.
